Tytthaspis sedecimpunctata (Linnaeus, 1758)
Sixteen-spot Ladybird

A small ladybird, 3mm to 4mm long, predominately south-eastern in distribution. It can be recognised by the dark median line running down the edges of the elytra and the fused lateral spots. The base colour varies from a muddy to custard yellow. Found amongst grasses it feeds on pollen and mildew.
