600 species of animals, fungi, protists and bacteria are currently pictured with over 2200 photos. Recent additions include Chromatomyia lonicerae, Adrastus pallens and Nematopogon metaxella.

Most records are chance encounters with emphasis leaning torwards the arthropods and fungi through my own interests.

Photos are taken with a Canon EOS 400D and a Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro or Tamron AF 55-200mm F4.5-5.6 Di II LD Macro, using a compact Sony DSC-W17 as backup.
